Our programs help students experience what it means to
be an environmental steward and to taste sustainability.
ReTreeUS is a nonprofit project of United Charitable Programs (a 501-(c)(3)) dedicated to promoting an environmentally sustainable, socially just food system through education, practical resources and mentorship. We plant orchards in schools and provide educational programs that empower people to be healthy environmental stewards. Our programs are currently focused in the great state of Maine.
Growing sustainability in schools, homes and businesses.
Our orchards are planted at no expense for schools that apply to our program. We have a rolling admission process, so apply now if you are an intereseted Maine school.
These educational school orchards give students a direct experience with sustainability!

We also offer partnership orchards for non-profit organizations that are intererested in permaculture education. Contact us for details.
